EU:s dataskyddsförordning Sedan den 25 maj 2018 gäller Dataskyddsförordningen för all hantering av personuppgifter vid LiU. Vid LiU behandlas en stor mängd personuppgifter, exempelvis avseende studenter, medarbetare, forskningspersoner, affärskontakter m.fl. Dataskyddsförordningen påverkar i princip alla verksamheter inom LiU.

Dataskydd.net Sverige is a Swedish non-governmental organization (organization number 802495-4797), founded in 2015, working on making data protection easy in law and in practice, pushing policy focusing on IT security, privacy and consumer rights. I maj nästa år gäller EU:s dataskydd som lag i alla medlemsländer. Nu har konsultbranschen vaknat på allvar och det drar ihop sig till något som liknar hysterin inför millennieskiftet. Men en pragmatisk inställning räcker långt. Det har gått fyra år sedan jag intervjuade advokat Caroline Olstedt Carlström för första gången.
